Growing up, I was always able to express myself through writing. But it wasn't until I was already five years into another career that I realized writing was my future. In 2018, after a few years of freelancing and managing my own blog, I founded Lawton & Co., a copywriting + marketing boutique.

Since then, the business has soared, and I've had the pleasure of working with everyone, from small local business owners to celebrities.

That isn't all I do, though...I'm also a mom of three spunky, fun, wild little ones (plus two dogs, a foster puppy, and, much to my husband's dismay, a stray Holland Lop - who remains far too ungrateful for his rescue). Our life isn't exactly what I thought it would be. It's much messier and more chaotic. I'm always frantically looking for someone's lost sock or blankie - and for some reason, we're always short on spoons. 

 

Everything I do is inspired by the dynamic needs of my family - which means everything I do comes with a lot of heart. I believe everyone has that spark inside of them - that little something that lights them up or inspires them in some way. My goal is to tell those stories - to showcase our humaneness to the masses - and to make your brand the one everyone wants to get behind.
